Why is this policy in effect?
This policy helps fulfill one of the minimum required actions in the Water Conservation category of the Sustain Sedona Business Certification Program. This is one of many actions taken by this restaurant to be a certified Leader in sustainability in the community.
General Information for Residents/Tourists
Ripple Effect Partnership:
- The City of Sedona, the Village of Oak Creek, leaders from Yavapai County, and the local water utilities, Big Park Water Company and Arizona Water Company, have come together to launch Ripple Effect, a joint Integrated Demand Management Program that aims to highlight all the ways that people can do their part to conserve water.
Business Certification Program
- As part of the Ripple Effect Program, businesses can participate in the Sustain Sedona Business Certification Program. This program allows businesses to become certified as a Leader after completing the minimum required actions in the areas of Water Conservation, Waste Reduction, Wastewater Protection, and Stormwater Management.
